Trenville Campground
21563 Twp Rd 36-1A. Go approximately 60 km east of Innisfail on Hwy 590, turn north on Rge Rd 22-2, then east on Twp Rd 36-1A and follow the signs to campground.
Mature balsam poplar forest with thick understory; adjacent to the Red Deer River.
Walk along river and throughout campground.
American White Pelican, Turkey Vulture, Veery. During migration: warblers.
A good spot to start or end a canoe trip. Park open from May to September. Gates are closed in the winter.

More birds will be seen in the spring and summer seasons, but all locations will have some winter birds. Typical and common species can be expected for each habitat described. Large deep lakes typically attract migrating waterfowl, (ducks, swans, and geese). Notable Species are species of special interest that have been recently recorded in or near the area.
