39502 Rge Rd 26-0. Go east of Lacombe on Hwy 12 for 8 km, south on Rge Rd 26-0 (Prentiss Road) for 8 km. The siteis on west side of road.
Agricultural land interspersed with shelter belts, creeks, a large aspen woodlot and several small wetlands. Public area has naturescaped gardens.
Wheelchair accessible trails around site, two longer hiking trails to wetlands and woodlot.
Purple Martin, Mountain Bluebird, Northern Waterthrush, Western Meadowlark. During migration: warblers, sparrows.
Open to the public between the May and September long weekends. Walking Trail maps are available at the Visitor Centre.

More birds will be seen in the spring and summer seasons, but all locations will have some winter birds. Typical and common species can be expected for each habitat described. Large deep lakes typically attract migrating waterfowl, (ducks, swans, and geese). Notable Species are species of special interest that have been recently recorded in or near the area.
